Chaplaincy
St Patrick's College is fortunate to be one of the few schools with a full-time Chaplain. At present Fr. Loughlain Carolan is school chaplain. He endeavours to support the Catholic Ethos of the School through Liturgy and a Pastoral Care programme. Part of his work is being available at all times to meet with students, whether it's for a chat or to discuss a problem; a service that is also extended to the parents/guardians of students.

 

One teacher is appointed as a Year Head to each of the five class years.
They are there to talk to and help any student or parent who may have concerns or
difficulties with school or class work.

Third Year Head...........Mr Fergus O' Connor.
Fourth Year Head.........Mr Tony Prunty.
Fifth Year Head............Mr Michael Collins.

Prefects, all of whom are senior students, are available to assist those pupils who may experience anxiety in the unfamiliar surroundings of a new and bigger school. They are a “friendly face” and carry out many school duties.
