PHYSICS DEPARTMENT
Physics is about Matter and Energy.
Energy is the ability to do work and has many
different forms.
The Leaving Certificate course is broken down into six different sections.
2). Light.
3). Heat.
4). Magnetism.
5). Electricity.
6). Atomic Physics.
The course also consists of mandatory experiments which are carried out by the students themselves and a clear reportof the experiment is written.
The Exam consists of two sections.
SECTION A: Experiments.
SECTION B: All other material which may also include more experimental work.
